The Employability Skill Certification Programme takes an activity-based approach to raising learner's awareness about employer expectations and the working environment. This Program designed to develop learners' skills in: selfmanagement; team working; problem solving; communication; IT in the workplace; applying for a job; exploring job opportunities; how to face interviews confidently, rights and responsibilities at work; and health and safety in the workplace. The program also exposes them to mock interview practice sessions.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Gain a wider context to imrpove the interpersonal skills such as listening skills, verbal communication and emotional intelligence when working in groups.
- Understand and improve the communication skills; the ability to speak, listen, question and write with clarity and conciseness.
- Improve the ability to think clearly and rationally about what to do or what to believe. It includes the ability to engage in independent thinking
- Guide to making a professional and effective presentation and detailed information about presenting and communicating in particular circumstances
